Rustic pottery Course
Learn to make plates, vases, pendants and other objects using ancient indigenous techniques. By using a mixture of mud enriched with sand and clay and a few simple tools (stones and knives) you can carve out, model and then fire beautiful terracotta objects which can be used for many purposes.
They can be decorative, useful (home, agriculture) or even as components of a very original irrigation system which utilizes the permeability of large terracotta jars. We are always happy to share our knowledge and techniques with others while at the same time keeping alive traditions which are at risk of disappearing.
