PUNTA JESUS MARIA

Punta Jesus Maria is a high and very long ridge of sand which has formed in the lake due to various contrasting currents. This ridge of sand is hundreds of meters long and you may walk along it until you reach the point where the waves take over in a spectacular “battle”. You will find various places in this area that provide food and drink.

Punta Jesus Maria lies in the direction of Moyogalpa at about 30km from our farm. The road to get there is in a good condition so you may hire a scooter or motorcycle or otherwise take the bus and ask to be left off at the entrance. Tickets may be purchased at the entrance.
