Welcome to the IX Edition of the Ometepe Gathering 2027. We invite you to our beautiful temporary community village. We organize this special event directly at El Zopilote Eco Hostel. The gathering runs from February 11 to 16. Specifically, we start on Thursday at 11 AM. We conclude on Tuesday at 11 AM. Importantly, we create an alcohol-free and vegan space completely. Furthermore, we ask you to disconnect from phones and wifi entirely. Therefore, you can truly connect with surrounding people and nature.
Daily Activities and Festival Rules
Next, let us explore the daily gathering rhythm. We generalize our schedule to encourage continuous organic participation. For example, we host diverse ancestral ceremonies, movement workshops, and community circles. Additionally, you will enjoy amazing circus arts, live music, and a daily temazcal. The gathering also provides a safe, dedicated space for kids. Children up to 12 years old enter completely for free. We begin every morning with our yoga at 7 AM. Afterward, we share three healthy organic vegan meals together. During the festival, nobody buys or sells anything. However, we host a fun community market on the final Tuesday. We also welcome talented musicians and facilitators warmly.
Ticket Prices and How to Book
Importantly, we offer several flexible ticket options. A full festival pass costs $98 USD. Alternatively, three consecutive days cost $77 USD. Two days cost $52 USD, and a single day costs $28 USD. Every ticket includes camping, daily meals, and all activities. You can easily book your spot via email at ometepegathering@gmail.com. Next, you pay using Wise or Revolut to cristianobianchi1975@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can send $105 USD via PayPal to zopilotereservation@gmail.com. Please remember that all passes remain completely non-refundable.
Accommodation, Transport, and Volunteers
Your ticket includes a basic spot in our camping area. Therefore, you must bring your own tent and flashlight. You also need your own plate, cup, cutlery, water bottle, and mosquito repellent. Alternatively, you might prefer comfortable eco hostel accommodation. You can book private rooms on our main El Zopilote website. You can also book El Porvenir via Booking.com. To arrive, simply take the ferry to Moyogalpa. Next, catch a bus or taxi to El Madroñal.
Finally, we actively seek enthusiastic volunteers to build this edition. We need dedicated helpers before and during the actual gathering. Volunteering offers a deeply immersive and beautiful community experience. Please email us if you want to join the core team. You can find all event updates on our Facebook Event. You can also follow our main Facebook Page. Furthermore, we share amazing photos on our Instagram Page. We eagerly await your arrival on the island!
